Employers can continue to use expired Family and Medical Leave Act forms until the U.S. Labor Department issues new ones, Christian Schappel writes. Employers should, however, make sure to add GINA safe-harbor language, which reminds employees and medical providers not to provide family medical-history information when responding to an FMLA certification request.
