Time Warner Q4 profit jumps on sales from cable unit

Time Warner said its fourth-quarter net income rose 77% on increased revenue from cable operations. Sales of VoIP and cable-television services pushed revenue at Time Warner Cable to $2.2 billion, a rise of 10% from a year earlier. Subscribers to the company's digital-TV service grew by 124,000 to 4.8 million. VOD subscriptions climbed 171,000 to 1.5 million.
