Isuzu to exit the U.S. market

Japanese automaker Isuzu, perhaps best known for its iconic 1980s "lying" Joe Isuzu marketing campaign, will leave the U.S. market after 28 years. The automaker, which since 1993 has only sold trucks and SUVs, suffered poor sales after it failed to update its models, raised prices and slashed its marketing budget, according to this article.
