App offers offline access to nursing database

An iPad application from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins offers offline access to Lippincott's Nursing Procedures and Skills database. The app's offline capability enables users to access content remotely, such as in home care settings, or during disaster recovery, said Carolyn Dalton, senior digital product manager for LWW parent company Wolters Kluwer Health.
