Ind. lawmaker proposes standard financial-literacy course

Indiana state Sen. Brent Waltz is proposing a standardized financial-literacy program for public schools. The state mandated financial-literacy classes in 2010, but Waltz says a set curriculum would encourage all schools to follow the law. The curriculum would teach the basics of investing, using credit and how to manage bank accounts.
