Turnips are perfect for salads and slaws

Small, firm turnips are great for snacks, salads, soups and slaws no matter the time of year. Grab a few fresh bulbs from the farmers' market, grate them in a food processor or julienne them by hand, and toss with cabbage and Greek yogurt for a creamy side of slaw.
