Weekly math problems help prepare NYC students for exams

Students in one New York City school are getting extra math practice through the school's Problem of the Week initiative. In this article, City Year New York Corps member Robin Krosinsky explains the process. Students can submit answers to a new question posted each week, and winners are rewarded with lunch with the group organizing the project. "We have had three full weeks of problems, and over 267 submissions from students -- 131 of which were correct," she writes.
