Eisenhower fellow learns lessons from NPs abroad

Eisenhower Fellowship recipient Tine Hansen-Turton traveled to Singapore and New Zealand to study how nurse practitioners help expand health care. The CEO of the National Nursing Centers Consortium in Philadelphia, Hansen-Turton used the lessons she learned abroad to help craft legislation that allowed NPs to practice more independently in her state.
