Washington Gov. Jay Inslee asked wind power company AMSC to relocate to his state from Devens, Mass., according to a copy of a letter issued by the governor's office. Inslee said last month that he was trying to persuade a clean-energy firm to move to Washington, although he wouldn't say which company. An AMSC spokesman said that the company "is always looking at strategic options to expand its business" but has no immediate plans to open a new U.S. location.
