Nestle uses QR codes on packaging to share nutritional info

U.K. store shelves will be first to receive Nestle products with QR code-enabled packaging. The codes provide nutritional and environment impact information when scanned. "We feel that QR codes are the right approach because useful information can be shared in an easy-to-use and attractive way with the consumers," said Nestle spokesman Philippe Aeschlimann.
