Rebuilt ShopRite is ready to open after superstorm Sandy

A ShopRite store will open Saturday in Hoboken, N.J., after being rebuilt because of superstorm Sandy, which devastated the region in October. The store, owned by Inserra Supermarkets, was constructed with energy-efficient features, including glass doors on dairy and freezer cases and LED lighting; a larger prepared-food department; and a coffee shop.
