Insulin raises health risks in type 2 diabetes patients

Insulin-treated type 2 diabetes patients face a greater risk of heart attack, stroke and eye conditions than those on different anti-hyperglycemic therapy, according to a study in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
