Judge allows $7.9M suit over allegedly mold-related illness to proceed

A $7.85 million lawsuit alleging that mold at a Virginia elementary school caused a boy to require long-term medical treatment can proceed, a judge ruled. The defendants are the Suffolk, Va., school board and two of its employees. The judge, however, rejected the plaintiff's claims of simple negligence.
