ACA has saved seniors $5.7B on meds, HHS says

An Affordable Care Act provision that is closing the "doughnut hole" in Medicare's drug coverage has saved seniors $5.7 billion, HHS is set to report today. Using discounts given by drugmakers, the law will close the gap in Part D coverage -- which begins at $2,970 this year -- by 2020.
