Pentagon wants to limit pay increases for active-duty personnel

The Pentagon intends to recommend to Congress that military pay raises for active-duty service members be capped at 1% next year, press secretary George Little said Wednesday. If sequestration comes into effect in March, some military benefits may face cuts as well.
