Report: U.S. online retail sales rose 15% in 2012

E-commerce sales in the U.S. totaled $186.2 billion last year, a 15% increase from 2011, according to comScore. The fourth quarter of 2012 marked the ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, with a 14% increase driven by a 6% rise in the number of buyers and an 8% jump in order size.
