US Airways Group Chairman and CEO Doug Parker would take the reins as CEO if the carrier merged with American Airlines, sources say. AMR Chairman and CEO Tom Horton would assume the position of non-executive chairman. Both airlines declined to comment, and nothing is certain until the AMR board of directors votes on a merger proposal early next week.
