Tesco to invest $159M in green efforts

Retail giant Tesco says it will spend more than $159 million on green technology in its mission to reduce its carbon emissions by 50% by 2020. In an interview, company CEO Terry Leahy said the investment will be in areas including carbon dioxide refrigeration, combined heat and power plants, and sites for charging electric cars.
