Roslyn, N.Y., hospital begins Long Island PCNA chapter

St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, N.Y., has started a Long Island PCNA chapter to support its mission to promote its Magnet program as well as professional growth for nurses, writes registered nurse Barbara McCartney. Hospital nurses said PNCA's goals fit with their own, including a dedication to preventing cardiovascular disease through risk assessment and helping patients adopt healthier lifestyles and achieve treatment goals.
