Assassination deepens political crisis in Tunisia

Tunisians have entered the streets of the capital for the funeral of secular opposition leader Chokri Belaid, who was assassinated Wednesday by an unidentified gunman. Public transportation and many stores are closed, while universities lectures have been suspended as part of a general strike.
