BlackBerry won't market Z10 handset, other BB10 phones in Japan

The Z10 smartphone from BlackBerry won't be sold in Japan, nor will any of the BlackBerry 10 models, due to a lack of demand for the BlackBerry line there, according to BlackBerry, which does not view Japan as major market for its products. Phones with the BlackBerry operating system and Nokia's Symbian-based OS combined represent less than 0.5% of the mobile operating systems used in Japan, according to comScore.
