DHS takes aim at security concerns hampering government mobile strategy

Federal agencies are advancing the mobility portion of the U.S. government's Digital Government Strategy with the introduction of a management platform from the General Services Administration, but security concerns remain a barrier for some. To address concerns surrounding the bring-your-own-device trend, the Department of Homeland Security is applying a recently developed security baseline architecture to develop guidelines for five mobile use cases.
