Shorter workweek could help curb climate change

A fractional shortening of the working week might be enough to significantly reduce global warming, according to an economic analysis. Cutting work hours by 0.5% a year would reduce the increase in global warming by between 25% and 50% through 2100, the analysis says, perhaps by curbing overall production and consumption levels.
