AOL posts rare rise in revenue, breaks out media results for first time

AOL's revenue net income increased 57% during the fourth quarter, in part because of proceeds from an asset sale. This marks the first quarter of growth for the company in eight years. The company also posted results for its media properties for the first time, with the division showing a 4% increase in revenue, but a 37% decline in Ebitda, owing to steep investment costs.
