Exelon CEO says wind tax incentives are affecting nuclear business

Exelon might have to shut down some nuclear plants eventually "if we continue to build an excessive amount of wind and subsidize wind," said Christopher Crane, the company's president and CEO. Tax incentives for wind power are affecting Exelon's nuclear business, Crane said, but the utility doesn't plan to shut down any of its reactors soon. "We continue to believe that our assets are some of the lowest-cost, most-dispatchable baseload assets," he said.
