Mobile advertising takes off in South Korea

The mobile ad market in South Korea surged 184% in 2012, according to the Korea Communications Commission, and rapid growth is expected to extend into this year, with the market likely to almost double. Display ads on the mobile Web led the way among the different forms, with 92.3% of mobile users viewing such campaigns.
