Biologics will participate in late-stage trial of Neupogen

The National Marrow Donor Program chose North Carolina's Biologics to oversee inventory and distribution of Neupogen, a drug that boosts white blood cells, during a Phase III trial involving blood stem cell transplant patients with unrelated donors. The trial has been going on since 1997 and is expected to enroll 15,000 participants by 2012.
