Fusion is name of new Univision-ABC News network for Latinos

Fusion, the new 24-hour news and entertainment channel from Univision and ABC News, will launch in late summer in a minimum of 20 million homes. The joint effort will test the market appeal of TV content aimed at English-speaking Latinos. But Fusion also will need to reach beyond its core audience, said consultant Larry Lubin, who worked with both partners. "The brand will be a failure if it only appeals to Latinos," he said.
