House Republicans increase pressure for Keystone XL approval

Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee are ramping up their pressure on President Barack Obama to approve TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline. A website launched by panel members includes a "Keystone Clock," which shows the number of days that have passed since the project's application was filed. "Keystone XL remains an opportunity to help create a more secure energy future, but the clock on Keystone XL is still ticking as the president continues to delay his decision on the project," the lawmakers said.
