Apple addresses iOS 6 bugs with iPhone 4S update

Apple on Tuesday released iOS 6.1.1, an update designed to fix an iPhone 4S connectivity issue, the company announced. The smartphone maker took the step after European carrier Vodafone told subscribers not to adopt the iOS 6 upgrade due to battery and connectivity flaws. Apple made iOS 6 available on Jan. 28.
