How to tell if a star employee is job hunting

If a star employee suddenly stops bringing up complaints or asking about compensation, it could mean he or she has mentally checked out and is seeking employment elsewhere, Liz Ryan writes. Another bad sign is if a top performer shows a sudden interest in statistics that could be used to quantify performance on a résumé, such as revenue associated with a specific product.
