Linux server SSDs can use CAS, Intel says

Intel is touting a Linux-server version of its cache-acceleration software for solid-state drives, and said CAS has been expanded to handle VMware vMotion and NAND flash. "The advantage is not just to provide better performance, but ensure no matter what happens, that performance remains consistent," Intel's Andrew Flint says.
