Mobile banking trend a hit with young consumers

More banks of all sizes are using smartphone technology to attract customers, especially young ones who rely on their devices to do things such as make payments or deposit checks. Online banking makes up about 53% of banking transactions, followed by 14% in branches and 8% in mobile banking, according to an AlixPartners survey.
