Ala. district makes school lunches 'beautiful'

Officials in an Alabama school district try to make healthy lunches "beautiful" -- saying students are more likely to eat visually appealing food. Dedrick Bowden, Montgomery Public Schools child nutrition director, said the district already has implemented many of the new federal nutrition guidelines. One elementary school offers a salad bar, whole wheat entrees and fruits and vegetables. "We change it. We make it presentable. We make it look good. We eat with our eyes," he said.
