Missouri is one of four states with laws mandating that health insurers offer patients contraceptives if religion-based employers object to doing so. The difference between Missouri's law and President Barack Obama's most recent federal contraception coverage plan is that the state requires individuals to pay for birth control, while the federal policy would have insurers foot the bill.
