Ark. universities see major growth in engineering programs

Enrollment in the undergraduate engineering programs at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville have grown by around 10% in the past year. School officials say the lure of high-paying jobs is driving some of the growth, but they acknowledged that the number of students interested in pursuing these fields and who have demonstrated the ability to succeed is still limited.
