Md. man arrested at JFK; charged in 2012 murder

Michael Stahlnecker, 51, of Crofton, Md., was arrested about 6 a.m. Tuesday at JFK International Airport by New York and New Jersey Port Authority Police, special agents from ICE Homeland Security Investigations, and the U.S. Marshals Service. Stahlnecker was charged with murder in the death of a man late last year. The man's car was found abandoned in Maryland in December and his body was in the trunk. Stahlnecker was arrested Tuesday as he was about to board a flight at JFK International Airport.
