Obama's cybersecurity order calls for voluntary program

President Barack Obama issued an executive order Tuesday regarding cybersecurity, calling for voluntary information-sharing among financial institutions, utilities and other entities that are vital to the economy, public health and national security. "I think in general it means (the U.S.) will advance the case of cybersecurity, and that's important," said Paul Smocer, head of the technology policy division at The Financial Services Roundtable. "How much teeth versus how much gum there is, we'll see."
