Obama's budget would give $1B to Pentagon's energy programs

President Barack Obama's 2013 budget proposal would allocate $1 billion to the Department of Defense's energy-efficiency and renewable-energy programs, up from the $400 million that the department spent in 2010 for those programs. The budget includes $32 million to test new energy technologies for large-scale use.
