Physical activity boosts children's cardiometabolic measures

Data from the International Children's Accelerometry Database showed that greater involvement in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity improved children's cardiometabolic risk factors. The mean times spent by children in physical activity and being sedentary were 30 and 354 minutes per day, respectively, researchers reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
