Sources: Fewer people subscribe to Amazon Prime than estimated

Amazon.com has signed up far fewer customers for its Amazon Prime service than many financial analysts estimate, Bloomberg reports, citing three people familiar with the matter. While analysts estimate the company has 10 million Amazon Prime customers, the actual number is between 3 million and 5 million, those sources said. A spokeswoman for Amazon declined to comment.
