Time Warner Cable app offers live streaming on PCs, Macs

Time Warner Cable has released the beta version of a TV application for PCs and Macs that gives subscribers the ability to connect to about 200 live TV networks, manage their DVRs, check program listings and use their computers to remotely control some digital set-top devices. As with Time Warner Cable's iPad and iPhone apps, the PC-Mac edition allows subscribers to watch live TV only within their home Wi-Fi footprint.
