AAFP welcomes focus on health care in State of Union speech

AAFP President Jeff Cain, M.D., responded to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address by saying the Academy "welcomes the continued focus President Obama put on the health and safety of all Americans." Obama said changes in how Medicare pays for care will reduce health care costs and should be based on quality of care.
