Expert urges ethanol producers to get into corn oil business

Ethanol plants that don't extract corn oil are losing out on a potentially lucrative source of income, said Joe Riley, general manager of oil-marketing firm FEC Solutions. A 50-million-gallon-per-year ethanol plant could produce between 1.5 million and 1.7 million gallons of corn oil, he said.
