House bill adds to federal push on cybersecurity

President Barack Obama's executive order on cybersecurity moves the conversation forward but will require congressional action to be fully effective, writes Tony Romm. A House bill has been introduced by Reps. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., and Dutch Ruppersberger, D-Md., that is similar to one opposed by the administration last year. Separately, the Department of Defense announced it is preparing cybersecurity requirements for private contractors.
