Number of firearms found at Norfolk airport doubled from 2011 to 2012

The number of firearms confiscated at Norfolk International Airport in Virginia last year was double the amount recovered in 2011. But the number isn't so alarming because figures jumped nationally from 1,300 to 1,500, says Karl Morrisette, acting federal security director at the airport.
