CARU getting some marketers' attention

The Children's Advertising Review Unit of the Council of Better Business Bureaus has a mixed record with getting marketers to comply with its voluntary rules for ads geared toward kids. At least one marketer, Jakks Pacific, has pulled a spot because of a CARU complaint, while another, Lego, said it would continue to run a spot in question but would consider CARU's input in the future.
