Study: EHR adoption still slow, especially for smaller practices

Adoption of EHRs is still lagging, according to a federally supported study. Results showed no change in adoption among physicians, as well as a "market failure" for small practices. However, the study did show that EHR adoption rates are much higher among larger practices and multispecialty groups.
