Do business travelers really equate to big money for hotels, airlines?

From the numbers casually spewed, the travel industry seems to believe business travelers are where the money is, this feature notes. But, Joe Brancatelli asks, "If we're so damned important to the travel industry's collective bottom line, how come airlines, hotels, and car-rental firms treat us so badly? Why does every flight in a middle seat in coach and every stay in an aging hotel with a saggy mattress convince us that the travel industry really hates us?"
