Former Stanford execs are sentenced to 20 years in prison

A U.S. judge has sentenced two executives to 20 years in prison for helping Allen Stanford run a $7.2 billion Ponzi scheme. Prosecutors say Gilbert Lopez, former chief accounting officer of Stanford Financial Group, and former Controller Mark Kuhrt were aware Allen Stanford was misusing investors' assets and helped him conceal it.
